And you can see in the end of the video I believe the mama bear was probably protecting her cub.

I think I saw this some time ago and the story was the climber got too close to the bears cub, clearly without even knowing it was there, so the bear went bea(r)st mode to protect its cub.

Round 23 second mark you should see the bear cub come into screen like middle right.

A few of his hammerfists missed the bear and hit the rock. That probably hurt a lot once the adrenaline wore off.

Tbh, it probably didn't feel much different than landing it on the bears skull.
