Right. I mean, maybe. The theory that I ultimately settled on a while back was one that made significant room for moral pluralism. The foundation was Hume's moral sentimentalism, precisely in opposition to the hyper-rationalizations of Kant that seem so detached from real-world morality. Consistency be damned.

That's the one thing that monarchy, or neo-reaction offers. A relief of responsibility for the shitty political things you want to do. Just give it to someone with divine right, and all the contradictions go away.
