Final bump for this thread . . .

So I just commissioned, and I'm now stationed in Norfolk. I'm on the USS IWO JIMA and my head is still spinning from the move. Once I move into my condo next week I'll be ready to start gym hunting. I still plan on taking a look at Gustavo's, then Eastern, then Global.

Any final thoughts or feedback on training in the Norfolk area would be most appreciated!

Thanks Thrawn33, yeah I'm actually really interested in Judo. I train it whenever I can because I just don't think bjj is complete without it. Do you train there? If so then perhaps I'll see you on the mat up there.

Also are you in the service?

Yep, Coast Guard Boatswain's mate. And yes thats my team. Speaking of, now i need to get to practice.
