Understanding the meaning of "manlet"

Im 5'9 and never felt like a manlet. Im not tall, I know that, but I am taller than a lot of people too. I actually feel like a lot of people are my size. Maybe I'm a delusional manlet?
 
Personally, I see it as more about height and to a lesser extent body type than about attitude or personality. I would classify any man under 5'8" as a manlet. Conor is 5'9, which is slightly shorter than average, but he has sort of a long, lean body type so he doesn't really come across as all that short. Team Alpha Midget are manlets for the most part, I guess Fili and to a lesser extent Castillo would be the notable exceptions. Don't get me wrong, I like Faber but he's generously listed as 5'6". He seems more like 5'4" to me. Look at the muscle mass he packs for 135. If he were really 5'6" with that type of mass, he'd probably still have to fight at 145. Chad Mendes is also 5'4" IMHO.

Pretty sure Rogan is 5'8". He's just above my cutoff point for manlet status. I don't see him as all that insecure (at least not about height), I think he just likes to train and be a complete man. When I think about manlets, I think much more about guys like Faber and Mendes who are several inches shorter.

Yeah, I thought that manlet was a relatively friendly form of ball busting that started on bodybuilding.com, moved on to 4chan, picked up steam from there and now has spiraled out of control.

I've said before and I'll say it again. It comes down to attracting poontang. Tons of shorter guys get mad hot beaver. Especially if they have broad shoulders.

It's not that important, from what I've observed.

You can call a guy a manlet all you want, but when he's walking around with a way hotter bitch than your aging, overweight wife, your words mean jack shizzle.

That's something I'd expect a manlet to say to change the subject tho.

It's crazy 5'9 and 5'10 are now considered short.
Check out these stats:

I say this as a 182.5cm tall guy, ya less then 1/4 an inch away from 6 feet.
