Speaking broadly, it was the freedom we had in the 80's. Everything we did wasn't tracked by big tech. We actually went out, played, exercised, and had to extend ourselves for personal interactions. It wasn't all done on a hand held device. People were friendlier and more sociable. Pop culture was also more fun in the 80's than any other decade.

I agree. But as time goes on my nostalgia is branching out. I'm not just nostalgic for the 80s anymore, I'm nostalgic for the entire 20th century as a whole. 20th Century >>>>>>> 21st Century. But the 80s is definitely still my favorite decade of the 20th.

The 90's were great too. It was "the last great decade."
