News UFC Heavyweight Juan Espino announces his retirement

Injuries suck.

Didnt get truly started but showed some potential. A shame really.

Dissapointing.
He was a very interesting HW due to his unique blend of grappling.
Nice guy too.

First man to expose Romanov. He made him quit. That's where I left the hype train on him and knew he wouldn't go far. Espino was legit. Knocked Maurice Smith with 1 punch on the ultimate fighter. But that's all he pretty much did in the UFC unfortunately.

Dude always had a nice style lol

always find it sad when someone retires before they really find their stride. so many what-ifs in life.
We might've had this conversation a decade or so ago, but I must say your AV is absolutely beautiful. My man.

Damn. I was really looking forward to see him have a chance to face jones.

That happened when he first stepped away from the sport after his loss to Minakov.

What we saw in the UFC was an old Espino getting by due to being one of the few skilled grapplers at HW.

He always reminded me of Oso from Snowfall

Never seen that show, but always thought Juan looked like the main antagonist from Rambo V.

Turns out it's the same guy.

He was an interesting HW but there's no point whatsoever in having men on TUF over 35. Even over 30 is a bit weird IMO.
