I'm not going to comment on your autistic statement about Conor owning the UFC, but I will say this: the UFC needs to make adjustments to their current business model and their approach to matchmaking and promoting fights and fighters.
The company and the brand are bigger than ever in terms of the size of their fan base, but they need to switch to a more sustainable model and focus on boosting fan interest again.
They need to create appetite for their brand, quantity over quality is not good in the long term and we are starting to see the results; declining fan interest, lack of stars, apathy from fighters, etc.
I think one step to regaining interest from fans is to have fewer, more stacked cards and to increase fighter promotion by focusing on key fighters and their stories (i.e. producing more Countdown shows type of content) s rather than advertising fight night cards that no one wants to see with fighters that no one cares about.
I know they are tied to the current TV deal with FOX which makes them develop a huge amount of content, including fight cards, so the UFC had to increase their roster size to be able to produce this amount of fights. As this deal is about to expire, I hope with the new deal (hopefully with a different network or streaming platform) they focus on developing better fights with better fighters, even if it means cutting down to 20-30 events in the year.
