Rewatch Ubereem vs Brock

When your T levels are low and are still big like Reem was, it’s because they are using masking agents to cover up their steroid use.
There is that, but It also takes a while to shrink down after getting off too. He was noticeable smoother and smaller than the Brock fight. The consensus has always been that Ubereem ended when he ran away from drug testers before he was to fight JDS, which was before the Bigfoot fight.

And M. Yamasaki just let it go .. like that..strange

Brock just coming off getting half he's stomach removed was too early for this fight, he needed a much more time to recover.

There’s no amount of time that would have saved him. Even no-diverticulitis Brock would have gotten his ass kicked. He knows it too.

viking farmer lesnar would mop the floor with him
Yeah, Brock Lesnar, the worst striker in UFC heavyweight history who immediately shells up whenever he gets hit, would beat the most decorated heavyweight kickboxer in mma history.

In reality, what actually happened when they did fight, was that Brock was only 1 fight removed from being champ, and he got crushed in the 1st round with ease.

What about Brocks intestines being removed has ANY effect on his terrible reactions to getting hit? Sure, it probably made those finishing body blows hurt more. But wtf does it have to do with him acting like he's a day 1 novice and turning away from opponents like he's scared? What does his intestines have to do with his horrible striking defense? Nothing.

Cant wait for James toney to fuck up randy couture.

Nope. He beat Alistair right after he went cold turkey from years of heavy steroide abuse.
I still think Reem was using, those tests aren't hard to beat but a bit harder with the cycle Reem would be on.

This was all pre usada wasn't it?

I genuinely still think that Brock had the tools to beat Ubereem. Brock fought way differently in this fight than he ever fought anyone else. Look at his fight with Cain, which was his fight right before this one. He came out and rushed Cain, double-legging him and taking him down almost instantly. For some reason, he basically just stood in front of Reem for most of this fight, and the only takedown he even attempted was a half-hearted single-leg? Brock should have been bull-rushing him and going for the double. I think he'd have got him down, just like he got down literally everyone else he did that to. We've seen Reem get controlled, dominated, and even finished off of his back by wrestlers worse and way smaller than Brock was.
Ubereem would not have gotten taken down by Brock. Overeem yes.

So weird. Why, when Big Al was instigating all those clinches, didn't the Jacked White Boy just toss him around/to the ground instead of disengaging and backing up every time. Was he severely hurt from the very first body kick/knee?

Bigfoot beat Overeem at Ubereem form, think about that.

Overeem was noticeably softer and deflated from the Lesnar to the Silva fights.

Reminds me of what can happen when Sherdogers collide in real life.
Alpha male specimines pumped full of exogenous testosterone.
I'd imagine in hindsight Brock is glad to take this L as this footage ages better than him simping for Brokeback Light.

Never again we'll see this much pharmacy in the cage.
