Guy in the top video is the one from the low kick vids, right? His kicks are still pretty flicky.
Guy in the bottom video needs to corkscrew his punches more...his elbows are flaring out on that right. More hip extension also on the kicks...he's got virtually no pivot off the support leg and is halfway doing a cheerleader kick.
You sure you're teaching them Thai style kicking???
i kind of skimmed through the videos...
padwork 002 - still very herky jerky...more rotation on the punches; kicks are still flicking/chambering TKD style, need to pivot and turn the hips.
padwork 001 - looks like he's heavy on his lead leg and he's chicken winging a bit when throwing. hands are kind of low.
They're arm punching
bottom vid (001), get him to tighten up on his kick, kicking like that he's gonna get KO'd with hands that low, and not using his full reach.
