Trump/Anti-Trump Rallies In Berkeley: Part Deux

"BERKELEY (BCN)-- Rallies in support of and against President Donald Trump will be held in Berkeley's civic center area on Saturday.

Similar rallies in Berkeley on March 4 sparked melees that resulted in several people being injured and 10 people being arrested, although the Alameda County District Attorney's Office hasn't filed charges against anyone so far.

The first scheduled event on Saturday is an "Empathy Tent" for both the pro- and anti-Trump rallies that will open at 9 a.m. at the Civic Center Park at 2151 Martin Luther King Jr. Way.

At 10 a.m., the activist group By Any Means Necessary will hold a rally at the park, which they are calling "Defeat and Confront the Trump Movement."

At 11 a.m., the group 2 Million Bikers will stage their motorcycles at 60 Codornices Road before going to the pro-Trump rally.

At noon, the rally in support of Trump will begin at the park."
