This is Igor.....for you noobs

Wanderlei would have knocked him out.
Speed, hands, knees - Igor was much more effective against slow HWs.

And this is coming from someone who HATED Wanderlei during the Pride era and was praying for Saku to win...
What??? Igor would have KTFO of Silva. Silva had no boxing, no footwork, just windmilled haymakers like a school kid but was so roided out if they landed they fucked people up. Igor could have outboxed him all day, had a better chin and was physically stronger no matter how much Silva was juiced on PEDs.

Wand vs Igor would probably be a 50/50 fight at any point in their careers. Especially when it was discussed at the end of PRIDE when both were already past their primes.

Igor definitely faced some good strikers like: Gilbert Yvel, Masaaki Satake, Gary Goodridge 2x.

He also fought but lost to Cro Cop, Herring, Rampage and Overeem but no shame in losing to those guys, especially toward the end of his career. Only CC beat him on the feet. The rest beat him with grappling.

Igor was only KO'ed standing up once in 70 fights and that was to CC. He was a very skilled striker with power and timing to knock anybody out. Good grapplers were his only weakness.
Igor was piecing Rampage up on the feet before Jackson slammed him and broke his rib. But its MMA not Kickboxing so that's how it goes. I'm not sure how anyone who has watched combat sports since the Pride days can consider Silva a "good" striker. He was a savage beast, full of PED's who hit hard as hell and had some of the best killer instinct of all time. Wanderlei was a "fighter" unlike so many guys today who are "athletes" there's a difference and he showed that with very basic MT skills and enough savagry Wanderlei proved under Pride rules, he could beat the best 205lbs fighters at the time. But skill is not something I would ever use to describe him or even his MT. He had weak kicks, a solid clinch game with his knees, and only the most basic boxing. Igor has already had over 50 fights when he dropped to 205.

Igor was always one of my favourites from way way back.

I agree Igor would have knocked Wand out. Silva's looping punches opened himself up to the straight punches that Igor threw. and Igor threw harder.

You present it like it's a video you made yourself recently, and not one of the first quality highlights MMA video that was published before you hit puberty.
You act like you were even out of diapers then

That and Silva had ZERO defense. He literally fought with his hands at his waist, chin up in the air, swinging hooks as hard as he could. Silva was killer no doubt and possibly more intimidating than Igor at the time. But Igor wasn't called ice cold for nothing. Just like Fedor had no emotion, just flipped a switch once the bell rung and methodically handled business.

Someone quoted Igor strugglling with Telligman well Tra was like 6'3 no? Igor also struggled with Barreto who was 6'4 and had Jones-like arm span. But those are two guys who employed a jab and utilized their height and reach.

The truth is Barretão did circle a lot, even a lil bit too much...not really engaging...

But that future GOAT that just lost to Derrick Lewis hits harder than a Ford Escort!! I've never heard Dana White say something like that about this guy. Are you saying he's better than 2017's UFC HW top contender and future of the division, that elite brawler Ngannou? I heard many UFC shills and newer fans say he's the greatest New Breed HW Cain.

To say Igor would not be a factor in todays heavyweight division would be a dumb statement. Would he beat DC? Not likely. But he def has a chance.
