There is no shame losing to a man who established 100 man kumite and he himself set the record for around 250.

Also oyama was Korean. Faced discrimination and was considered low class for being Korean. Dude smashed his way to the top of the karate world. He also had experience with Taekkyon and learned kung fu in a farm before karate. After karate, he learned judo from the legendary Masahiko Kimura.

Point is, losing to Oyama is not an insult + this dude came in to share his chinese medicine and help people in need but he got in to it with the immigration officer and took out 4 cops and for protection he had no choice to become an enforcer and instructor for the Tong. Poor dude had no intention of trying to be fighter and so I can see him getting bodied by Oyama who was a karateka with Taekkyon, kung fu and judo skills.
