That's the way it is the older you get, 30 isn't old mind you but it's way different from 20. It will only get worse as you age, your body can't take much and will need longer to recover and recuperate.
I'm a fat fuck, and I can pump out 100 body weight squats, 100 situps, weights, and jump rope without breaking much of a sweat. You might just need to get into drastically better shape. I'm 30, btw.
