I had a big neck from football and wrestling, and it contributed to sleep apnea. The condition went away when in slimmed down a bit and reduced the neck training. I am a heavyweight though. You might not suffer the same.

You're not sure just being Heavy was the problem?

And yeah Im about as far from a heavyweight you could get lol.

What exercises did you use? Besides neck bridges.. Something happened once when I grappled and I was semi dizzy for months. Neck bridges brings it back.
 
Lats, rear delts and what not help to push that tree trunk neck up there. I suggest doing shrugs and power cleans to help aswell. Good luck you won't catch Romero me thinks.

Im staring with my normal training routine also (but these can only be done certian days due to work) and in those shrugs and lat work are obviously included.

No doubt I won't. But my god (shoulder of god) if I won't try.
 
More weight, less reps = mass

It doesn't have to be ton of weight, but 33 reps puts more strain on your neck than do you any good.

I guess it depends on which muscle we are talking about. Muscles like calves and forearms do not necessarily grow if you do just 10 reps. But then again, it depends on what works for you. I think neck muscles can be put into this group of muscles that you just don't know until you try and see for yourself ;)

do not listen to 'dontsnitch'. just pound out as much neck blasting as you can. get thick, get respect, get women. if it hurts, or you get dizzy, just work harder. push through it! after all, pain is just weakness leaving the body.... i know since i read it on a t-shirt in the mid 90's.

I find lats the hardest to hit of the three delt muscles.

What kind of exercises do you recommend?

I might be alright was dizzyness if the neck mass is on a epic level.

Used to do neck bridges in the gym back in the day just because I thought "a strong neck is better then a weak one" especially when it comes to potential injuries etc. People use to ask ask me "are you a wrestler?" after I was done. I was honest with them and told them No. These days though, I might consider claming yes, yes I am. ....because women will be flockin' touching my neck "Oh its so hard its so hard" yes I know bitch, you aint never been with someone that has a neck like me. Because lets be honest not many people dedicate a portion of their day to their neck.

But I do. Oh its true.

When I flex my neck I can feel the muscles that are Crazy development on angle. (below ear on the image) fella needs to even it out doe.

My quest got tested last night. Worked late. Got home tired. Ate. Took a shower. Was ready to go to bed but then I herd a voice say "Carbon, do you want it or not?" I'm pretty sure it was Yoel.

So I blasted out 180 neck reps. 20 x 3 for 3 sets (not as much as I usually do) then I went to sleep.

Traps were a Bit sore. So I let them rest. Will be blasting 300 reps ob them bad boys tonight doe. 300 on the neck also.

Honestly bro I think those neck reps are akin to doing deadlifts with an empty bar. You gotta work up to doing neck bridges without hands for a shit ton of reps

I can already do neck bridges. Used to rep the shit out of them with a 44 pound plate on my chest.

Going to focus on the neck reps though. Might throw in some bridges later. I feel like they mostly make your neck stronger not thicker. Thats my personal experience. And I dont care if its actually strong. It just needs to Look strong!

Im really looking forward to blasting the neck tonight!
