What the Roman Reigns does that mean?

It's not even the longest running wrestling show.

They say that due to lasting longer than Law & Order and Gunsmoke. Sure, shows like the Simpsons and Cops have been on longer, but Raw is on weekly not daily, whereas others has season finales and breaks between episodes, and its has rarely been preempted other than by the Westminster Dog Show for a few years during February. It just reached 24 years, which ties it for the same number of years as WCW Saturday night, but not as long as some local promotions, like Portland Wrestling.

TBS Saturday Night ran from 1971-2000 which makes it older than Raw.
60 Minutes has been on since 1968. It is episodic meaning there is a weekly narrative and it's scripted.

It sounds like they want it both ways. They want to pretend to be a sporting event so they can charge admission to the broadcasts but they also want to call themselves "episodic" which implies scripted. And scripted broadcasts cannot charge for admission.

This kind of lying is unnecessary. The show/company has some many other attributes it could brag about but they lie.

WCW Saturday night was 28 years if you count the Georgia Championship Wrestling era beforehand so altogether December 25 1971- August 19th 2000

I was looking on the list of longest running U.S. cable series and it listed WCW Saturday Night as starting December 17th, 1976 with the caveat that it was the date when WTCG was distributed nationally via cable, with WTCG evolving into TBS, and it was known as Georgia Championship Wrestling (1972–1984), World Championship Wrestling (1984–1992).
