The Baddest...

I know it was a boxing match with joshua, but i will never see nnganou as the same again.

that brutal ko loss tarnished his 'aura'.

it's ok, everyone who was happy to see Ngannou go to boxing said him getting paid was the #1 most important thing even if he got brutally KO'd.

take away all of the other aspects of martial arts and the specialist wins

shocking. Wonder how Joshua would do in a BJJ tournament...

shit, and that's why he doesn't ask to do BJJ tournaments lol. Ngannou ASKED for what he got.

In general I think you are correct, but HW boxing talent pool is much better than MMA i would say currently.

HW MMA sucks bad. Beside Tom Aspinall and Jon Jones I would say there is no good fighter. Jailton failed to rise against Blaydes.

Hell, I would say if Stipe hadn't been in too many wars and didn't come too light like he did, I would say Ngannou would never be champ. I think 2017 or 2018 Stipe still beats Ngannou who became champ.
Agree with HW MMA being a weak division in this era. I don't pay too much attention to boxing in general to be honest but I can recognize a few of the top heavies (Fury, Usyk, AJ, Wilder, Zhang, Parker, Ruiz) after that my memory is shot to shit. But those top dawgs hardly fight each other so that counter balances that advantage that boxing has.

I think you are being a little harsh on HW mma though. We still have Pav, Gane,Curtis and Robelis is still mysterious figure in the division that has yet to be challenged.

Stipe was definetely not in peak form when he fought Francis but I am not sure if he would have been able to stop Francis even if he was. Francis was practically merking everyone after that Derrick Lewis loss so I definetely think it woudl of been a competetive fight, nonetheless.
