Thai Shorts with Velcro

Just got back from Iowa and seen that Muay Thai Addict has a new series of shorts with a small strip of Velcro on the right side.. any idea what this is for?

Gonna go out on a limb here and take a wild guess that its there to fasten and tighten the shorts. I may be completely wrong tho this is a bit out of my wheel house and is pretty complicated stuff...

How did you determine that was velcro?

Did you email them asking this question?

Nobody here works for that company so I'm not sure what you were expecting by asking that question here...

A friend bought a pair in Iowa at the TBA 2017 expo and noticed it when we got back to Cincy. Wasn't sure if anyone has had it on a pair before

So you can slap on a sponsor's patch for the walkout, then peel it off for the fight.
