Taqiyya in action.

Basically a Shia family in Iraq survived two years under ISIS rule in Mosul by pretending to be Sunni's. This is a prime example of the importance taqiyya holds in the Shia sect of Islam. Many times in the past Sunni's have persecuted Shia's for their beliefs so they have been forced to lie about their true beliefs in order to preserve their religion. I found this story interesting because this is a prefect example of it being used in the modern day.
