Stevenson gets up much quicker than I thought
(was always told he was knocked out cold)
infact this stoppage seems quick, it's similar to when ward was knocked down.

He got up quick, but he could have been all over the place after getting up for all we know as the camera man focused more on the mediocre ring girl before the round than he did on Stevenson trying to make the count. The win shouldn't be a massive blemish on the record, though, as he clearly showed a fair amount of quality afterwards (and it's not like Boone didn't almost upend a few other apple carts). Stevenson had a lot of ability and it showed through a few performances (there is a reason why Steward held him in fairly high regard). I think the rust and age are going to show against Jack, though.
