splits: is it worth working on them?

    both front and side split were too easy for me in the past. i am still flexible but not very much.

    i can work on them easily again only if it is worth working on them?

    i mean why they are important/not important ,etc

    They aren't important if it's a position and/or movement that you don't use in your life.

    The splits made Jean Claude Van Damme famous, so I say they're worth it.
