Truth be told, summer has always been about the jam bands for me. Probably because summer was the time of year I'd take a "family vacation" and travel from show to show. And I'll be the first to admit this doesn't really translate well to video. It has to be experienced live. Tripping balls, High as a kite. Drunk as a skunk. Whatever. Just surrounded by thousands of people all on the same journey as the band is totally in the moment and feeding off the energy of the crowd.
