International Russia/Ukraine Megathread V15

81 old airplanes most likely are cos Ukr needs spare parts.
Day after war had started they had begged Duda to gave spare parts for MiG 29 and even cartridges for small arms and they had get this.
I wonder why pro Ukr media celebrated elections outcome in Poland. Yes, PiS barked a lot while at least delivered assistance quickly....
Tusk does fear from trade unions more than from nuke threat..
While Duda and PiS doesn't fear from them.
Tusk also loves long discussions before to make decisions....unlike PiS and Duda.

Chinesse official diplomatic statement that NATO according to their clowns brain is directly responsible for as called by chinesse " conflict in Ukraine " is nail in coffin. Russia is Chinesse vassal.

West might have option to be used this week, while I think that will be too dumb to use this and Ukraine most likely still is small resin peace.

1. They should station in Greece Patriot battery. Then maybe they might get Greece to agree to send Ukr S-300 battery and missiles.
2. Negotiate with Erdogan that he will sell artillery related equipment and ammunition without re export clauses.
3. Negotiate with Pakistan. They does have a lot of ammo and hates Iran not lesser than U.S....
All stuff we need from them is that they will sell ammo without re export bans in clauses. They does have a lot of ammo.

Will see. This week will be essential key period here.

Ukraine still does have huge resources for mobilisation. While with happiness they had announced that had replaced Reznikov ( I don't know was he good for Ukr or no, at least he didn't made our MoD angry, didn't had asked money etc ).
Ukraine does have at least 290 bireucrats working with food purchases for military. They all does have degrees so maybe might be usable today in trenches.
Like ~170 ppl in commissions paid to decide what kind of uniforms Ukr should have. All these bireucrats are well paid and does have degrees....
Hitler or Stalin had installed these in trenches long ago.

If Putin will be done, then permanently chair de facto will take Patrushev and one from his best friends is Medvedev. Add here Morozov and Ivanov....
Patrushev is 70+ y.o rich KGB dude with very huge impact in Russia and KGB/ GRU elite...

Ivanov about partial mobilisation in 2022 th.
" We need to know number of guys military will need. Then we might immediately conscript unmemployed citizens and if needed to add to this batch also some 300 000 guys from reservists lists. Today " . D. Ivanov speech in State Duma, March 2022 th.

Morozov looks that long ago wants total mobilisation in Russia with stuff Medvedev, Putin and Patrushev didn't agreed.

Ukr Dreams to get conscription by denying of consular services for Ukr citizens living aboard is starting fall appart quickly. Orban will start to evalue stuff next month and decide what to do. Estonia offered during next 6 months to establish commission in order to start discussions with Ukr ( it is real slap in the face IRL ).....

What this in reality might be?
During 6 months they will approwe commission for discussions and.. ...after this discussions might be even 30 years in row.....this reality.

Ukraine reportedly lost Robotyne. The Russians made some considerable local gains in the past few days.

Recently disclosed details about aid package from Germany are a bit surprising.

Yeah, undisclosed number of 35 mm and 40 mm & 120 mm & 155 mm ammo and some other toys...also some batch with missiles for IRIS-T etc stuff.
They also had delivered new 4 D radar for IRIS-T...
From one point it is bad sign because Russia without doubts had managed to smash radar .....and therefore Germany had to sent replacement.
While from another point it is very good sign that Germany had managed to manufacture new very complex radar really quickly and this definitely is sign that they in reality are racking up production.

Are you suggesting the West try this? That's to prevent them from retaliating in the same way?

There is a reason intelligent agencies worldwide generally shun assassination against political leaders.

No, was just making fun of PEB for assinate thread

Not important? Ukraine lost tens of thousand of men trying to capture it last year in its failed summer counteroffensive.

Not important like Bakhmut and Avdiviika?

10.000's of thousands? first I heard of this and how many did Russia sacrifice for Bahkmut and Avdiivka?
A year later Russia has gained another 5+ km of ground past Bakhmut ...def worth the cost. But russian life is worthless so it really doesnt matter.

In September 2022, the AFU had 1.1 million troops according to Ukrainian officials.

Zelensky himself said the AFU was at 850k in an interview in Februrary 2024.

They didn't stop drafting the entire time, and didn't let anybody demobilize. I suppose they just vanished into thin air?

The fact of the matter of Russia is reversing any costly gain Ukraine has made. The whole mythical 5:1 kill ratio is pure fantasy. Murica had firepower superiority in the Pacific during its island offensives in WWII, and utterly wrecked the larger Japanese formations. Guess who has more firepower in Ukraine? Already we're seeing Ukrainian units abandoning positions and run.

Never mess with UneXploded Ordinance (UXO) unless you are Explosive Ordinance Disposal trained.

Ukraine notified the Council of Europe in April about its intent to suspend several clauses of the Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms due to martial law.

The Ukrainian government said in a statement published on the Council's website that it would derogate from the provisions covered by Articles 30-34, 38, 39, 41-44, 53 of the country's constitution.

The rights that will be restricted are inviolability of housing, non-interference in personal and family life, confidentiality of correspondences, freedom of movement, and freedom of speech.
Under new changes to martial law, in place since February 2022, the government will have the right to compulsorily alienate private property for the needs of the state, to introduce curfew, to inspect the belongings, vehicles and homes of citizens, to ban peaceful assemblies, and to restrict the right for free choice of residence.

The office of the UN commissioner for human rights reported a rise in human rights violations committed by the Ukrainian military in 2023. These included arbitrary arrests and forced disappearances, as well as torture and sexual violence against detainees.
