@AppliedScience can you explain the matchmaking between Izawa and Yamamoto? I know nothing about them but after doing 5 minutes of research this looks like the mismatch of the century.

Juan Archuleta has been stripped of his bantamweight championship after missing weight ahead of RIZIN 45....missed the mark by nearly six pounds (63.80kg), leaving only opponent Kai Asakura eligible to win the now-vacant title. Should Archuleta win the bout — assuming it goes forward as planned — under the RIZIN Fighting Federation ruleset, it will be declared a No Contest.

Yamamoto gets to retire after fighting an undefeated champion and Izawa gets to fight someone old enough to be her mom.
It seems to make sense to RIZIN.
