This is one of the most stacked classes ever. Rank according to value based on this year's candidacy.
1. Randy Moss
2. Ray Lewis
3. Brian Urlacher
4. Terrell Owens
5. Alan Faneca
6. Kevin Mawae
7. Isaac Bruce
8. Brian Dawkins
9. Joe Jacoby
10. John Lynch
11. Steve Hutchison
12. Everson Walls
13. Ty Law
14. Edgerrin James
15. Tony Boselli
I'm personally of the opinion that Boselli has absolutely no valid basis for being inducted so long as Sterling Sharpe has not yet been inducted.
Sterling Sharpe: 7 seasons, 5x Pro Bowl, 3x First Team All-Pro, Retired in 1994
Tony Boselli: 7 seasons, 5x Pro Bowl, 3x First Team All-Pro, Retired in 2002
They have nearly identical careers: however, Sharpe succeeded despite middling quarterback play and led the league in catches twice, yards once, and TD's once while catching passes from Don Majkowski. WHen Favre came in, Sharpe caught 42 of 70 touchdowns 1992-1994. Boselli played at a position almost entirely independent.
