No. He sucked. And the AE was full of guys that would have run circles around him. Could he have used winning BFA for a mini push that got him into a top program for a couple months? Maybe. He wouldn't have been a lasting star in any case.

Seriously? I am sure that I was not alone when I saw him debut and thought "Who is this fat, old tub of crap who can barely move?"

I remember reading years later that the plan was to have him win the BFIA and then feud with Austin and all I could think was "Really?"
