Problem with first mouthguard - Venum

Hi, Is it normal that the material from the inside of the mouthguard has flowed to the outside as in the photo? should I change something and shape it again or is it good and will it protect my teeth 100%? sorry, I'm a beginner

Personally that doesn't look right to me but I haven't had experience with a boil and bite for over a decade.

Not going to be a helpful response, but if you can spend the extra $$$ one molded by your dentist. It'll fit way better pretty much be stuck to your teeth. At the very least, go to one of the custom ones that send DIY mold kits that you can send back. That's what I've done with the ones I've had and haven't had any issues whatsoever
