nanking_massacre.jpg

Nanking Massacre
and the guy Committing suicide is Bud Dwyer , an American Politician who was involved in some sort of corruption/ fraud and instead of going to jail he handed out all these envelops to people at a press conference so they could see what had gone on ( correct me if im wrong but thats what i believe was in them ) and than opened the final one which was a revolver , he told people to stay back because "this could hurt someone" and then blew his brains out . Filter made that hey man nice shot song after him

That is so sad, i have never heard of that before

Extremely sad... no country is completely innocent. What a great thread btw... it's nice to actually have a thread that means something.

This is filled with moving images of fallen soldiers familes. If this doesnt make you tear up then something is wrong with you.

This is the wife of a US Marine who was killed in the War in Iraq, She asked if she could sleep next to him for one last time, and the Marines made as good a bed for her as they could, she played music on the laptop which reminded her of her husband until she fell asleep.

As she was falling asleep, the Marine Standing guard asked her if she would like him to stay there. Her reply was " I think that's what he (her husband) would have wanted."

I'm still tiering up over this one, and I didn't even think a picture and description could do that.

This video has a lot of powerful stills and video of the Palestinian issue. As much as I disagree with firing rockets into Israel and suicide bombing Israelis on their way to work, I can't say I agree with what the IDF does in many cases. The dead children in this video and the kids being jerked away from their family remind me of the WW2 footage of when the same was happening in the Jewish ghettos of Europe. Further proof man in general will never advance beyond ignorance and non-understanding. The beginning and finale of the video (also at 1:35) is of a Palestinian man who was pinned down in cross fire and his son was shot and killed right beside him.

This video has a lot of powerful images of both US troops and Iraqi civilians. Some of the info is a bit dated, but the song is by Johnny Cash, a great American who was opposed to this Iraq war.

great thread guys,

Man that one with the brothers and the marine's wife are hard not to get a lump on your throat.
