Poor sport hits a Kimura lock at the NCAA tournament in the final seconds of a loss.

why are multiple people in this thread calling it an americana

Well if that's truly the case, then they need to ban his ass from competing.

But it was pretty kewl to see how quickly the ref called him out on it in either case.
Yeah, a chicken wing is your arm being pushed up your back, think handcuffs, or reaching up your back and grabbing your own shoulder blade. A very popular form of control is a half-nelson chicken wing combo

Austin Desanto hits a flying crucifix and then transitions into a Americana.

And your takeaway is that he should be kicked out ?? He was obv trying to roll him for pin.

[omg1] .

Yea I want him kicked out for it. I'm not sure where you wrestled at but an Americana is not a legal wrestling move.

Wrestling and jiujtisu can be so weird. Guy goes for a weak ass kimura and everyone loses their damn minds.

There should be no reason why a kimura should be illegal in wrestling or called a dirty move u can do the lady maker why not a kimura if it works it works

Punk ass move, hope this kid never gets to join MMA and disappointed in the NCAA for not kicking him out of the tournament.

but it was awesome, definitely need more of that to make wrestling watchable <45>
