These are way more dangerous than pitbulls.

I wouldn't say more dangerous. One could say the cane corse is capable of doing more damage if it were to attack a human.

In the clip, the officer made a mistake shooting the cane. He looks to be someone's pet (cut tail) that got loose and is running with the other dogs. He barely nipped at the guy and was clearly hesitant while the rest were in full on attack mode. It takes alot for a dog to resist that behavior when things get primal. He would have run off after the others were shot. Unfortunate. That looks like a beautiful dog.
