Paleo Diet

Anyone use this diet for at least 6 months to a year and had good results? A lot of people at my gym are talking about it or even started it but I usually don't like fad diets (ie.. Atkins, South Beach, etc...) but people are pretty pumped about this one.

This is in the wrong section, but i'll bite anyway.

Paleo is fine in practice, but dumb in theory. There's nothing wrong with eating cheese, heavy cream or butter (some paleo clans would say this is off limits because dairy is from the agricultural revolution). Also just because something is natural/paleo doesn't mean its healthy. Paleo is a good guiding principle but scientifically speaking often is questionable.
 
Eating more fruits, vegetables and lean meats and less processed crap is going to give anyone good results. This is where Paleo/Zone/vegan converts all get results, not from excluding entire food groups.
