DDP landed 6 takedowns and 20 kicks and is the first fighter I've seen since Stipe-DC II that properly utilized the body shot to slow down a slicker striker; he seen that Sean only wanted to jab, said 'hey, here's a liver shot' and had Sean reeling from it. Also DDP legit landed 3 headkicks on Sean

You do know of Alexs past right? He's a world class kickboxer and a much much better striker than Sean will even come close to being. DDP isn't a striker either so the totals being that close are actually more embarrassing for Sean than anything.

The kicks to the body were great strikes. 3 headkicks landed and didn't even phase Strickland. They didn't land clean at all.

That's true but DDP is a former WW, he isn't as big as Jan. I don't think DDP can do what Jan did, but that's his best shot at beating Izzy.
