That's what all the "experts" say who know a lot more than I do. I know some competitors that handload up to 165gr.
The heaviest I've shot is 124 and it was +P.

I've heard the statement made, but I've never shoot anything over 124 in a 9. Last person I spoke with about it mentioned the point of impact was off from point of aim with the heavier bullets. So I was like: who wants that.
