We can add boxing and the fighting buisness in general i guess, but name me a sport where fighters are going trough A LOT like our gladiators?
Training, fear, doubt, critics, wars, competition, loneliness, being the subject of a brutal knock out, in the case of mma not that much of money, short career for a lot ,Etc...
Its more than a sport, they always challenging themself.
Sometimes im putting myself in their shoes, and im asking if i could everyday train against monsters who btw have the same goal. Its like fighting for few seats.
They have that passion, you really have to love that, in other sports you can Rest on your laurels like kyrgios in tennis.
But in mma? Hell no, you navigate in deep water with full of sharks.
(Or at least i just see one name its gegard moussasi lol, but im sure he train hard so its just his "cocky" look when he fight, like he just get off his bed and accepted a brawl)
