Yes the Ap. is stupid but DM was just pointing out the absurdity of everyone in charge freaking knowing these aren't minors but the authorities are loathe to admit the emperor has no clothes.

To be fair I did go to school with a guy who had a full beard and looked in his 30s when he was actually 15/16. Though, he was the exception, not the rule.

There are far too many of these guys looking far older than their claims to make it coincidental.

Why wouldn't they like about their age? Also ditching passports and pretending to be Syrian refugees is big.
