For the record, a not guilty man would absolutely Never(land) pay 200 million to silence "alleged" sexual abuse victims.

But your boy Michael Jackson did.

Because the courts made the civil suit precede the criminal trial. Denied 6 times to have the criminal trial first he was left with the option of having the prosecution having a front row seat to all his evidence and alibis etc, so all they would need to do to damn him would be to adjust dates and places etc which they actually tried to do in his 05 trial too. They stole the defence file from a room not on the warrant. What would you do? This was an extreme violation of Michael’s constitutional rights and as such, the States has since changed the law so this can never happen to anybody again.

The judge should have balanced what was best for both parties and could have easily have resolved this issue but refused to. He could have either let the Criminal Trial for Jackson’s life go ahead of the civil trial for cash as it is infinitely more important, or at the very least he could have granted Jackson a Stay Motion and a Protection Order On Civil Discovery - problem solved.

Having said that, he didn’t pay anybody a cent, his insurance company did and it wasn’t for the sexual abuse claims as that isn’t allowed under law. All settlements have to be approved by the courts once a compliant has been made.

Used to believe in Jacko and was a fan when was young. Never believed the allegations.

Watched the documentary 'Leaving Neverland'.

Two kids he groomed and abused spoke out as adults when they have no need to lie at this stage.

Realized the allegations were true.

Lot of people including previous supporters and friends of Jacko also changed their minds after watching their testimonies.

Never looked the same at Jacko or his music again after that.

We don't need him, his memory can fade, he was a sick guy with multiple issues (pedo, wanting to become white etc).

Also his children aren't even his.

Don't understand why his music seems to have gotten a pass and not thrown into obscurity now. Probably because he was just too culturally significant for too long people can't take it.

People need to learn to separate art from the artist. I don't have any idea if he did or didn't do anything wrong, but once you start using a magnifying glass on people's lives, it's a slippery slope and you're going to find out that most people have done horrible things.
