165 can be the old man division for all those LW/WW "tweener" fighters who begged for it: Masvidal, Kevin Lee, RDA, Chandler, Conor, etc.

165 is a ridiculous split between 155 and 170. If adding a new weight class at about that size they need to adjust 170 to 175.

But really I'd prefer a 150 belt, if looking to simply add a weight class with a single change.

I have no problem with this.

Dana saying he doesnt want this to turn into boxing with all the belts is outdated. Theres a BMF belt for fucks sake. With all these "watered down cards" being done and hardly anyone watching, more belts adds some weight.

i am mixed on the 165lb and a coked up conor/clout hunger chandler being the fight for it. if connor wins, its just gonna be another jones situation of clogging the entire division. not to mention, it gives islam another excuse to not fight leon edwards.....

Why is it 5lb increments just for Super LW -> WW and WW -> Super WW, then back to 10lbs?
