Mayweather vs. McGregor press conference video live at 4 p.m. ET

Dana looks very displeased compared to other pressers, maybe something else happened besides Jones that we don't know yet?

JBJ was his big cash cow still in the UFC. He was getting ready to set up Jones vs Miocic in what would have been LHW Champ vs HW Champ for the HW Championship of the world. Had Jones won that, the next thing would have (most likely) been Jones vs Lesnar. We're talking tens of millions of dollars in revenue.

All that went down the toilet yesterday. Do you blame Dana for still looking depressed a day later?

dat was kinda boring

It wasn't the usual press conference and both fighters were serious and ready to go, as the fight draws near, they didn't want to waste the fighters time with another 1 hour press conference. Both of them have little time for distractions or games at this point, hence the "boring" and rather quick press conference, Floyd and Conor are both chasing history here, no time for fun and games 72 hours out, they already have to deal with media obligations.

Right they already did the press tour

McGregor trying his old tricks as a last ditch effort to get some mental edge. Mayweather cold as ice, treating Conor like random meat.

Conor didn't look so comfortable in there. He typically feeds off reactions and this was just a wall of dispassionate journos + Floyd giving him nothing but absolute, calm confidence. Say what you want about Conor but he is a smart guy. He knows he is in over his head and that the hour of reckoning is here.

This is the same drivel we hear before every Conor fight.

Can't wait for the first Ultimate Fighting Conor event.

No offense but what history are they chasing in this farce? PPV #'s?

Floyd is an emotional mess. It's not quite full on Aldo but still pretty bad.

Lol. C'mon, guys.

I can't believe we meme'd the fucking money belt into existence what the fuck was that lol.

LOL Are you dim or what?

Conor was considered a massive favorite as a striker in all his fights except maybe Aldo. Certainly the better boxer. The only questions have been about his grappling. Shall I draw a cartoon for you explaining why this fight is quite a bit different?

Stay tuned fanboy

I'd ask you the same question as you are over analyzing a benign press conference and now changing the entire argument to one of whether or not Conor will win.

I'll be shocked if Conor wins this fight. That said, he is as calm as he ever is before every one of his fights. Keep reaching.

Beating Rocky Marciano's record for Mayweather, and Conor being the first person to defeat Floyd Mayweather, he'll be the only fighter to dominate in two different promotions.

Except for the fact that FM will have beaten an 0-0 fighter to get to that number and the flip side beating a 40 year old fighter that had to come out of retirement. If you think that's history more power to you.

First time an MMA fighter has stepped over to boxing at this level.

Floyd's going for an even 50 wins (new record)

Conor's looking to shock the world.

As you pointed out, PPV is a part of it... and it's trending above all previous PPV's & being distributed wider... so there should be some history there as well.

Pretty self explanitory really.
