In all honesty how many people before this past weekend even knew she was still in the UFC? Now she is a known commodity and is to an extent doing what Conor did with creating drama outside the ring to become better known and draw attention to himself. Now Magana will fade away after a couple more fights expose her, but as a lower-level UFC fighter at this point the publicity will extend her career longer than her actual skill alone would have. So for those who supported Conor for promoting himself and creating buzz, why all the hate for Magana?
