not a clean KO if the shot that did it was illegal. Alvey was on his way out sooner or later, but that punch that finished him was to the back of the head and it wasn't even close to borderline.

You don't know what an illegal shot is if you think that was illegal.

Alvey is a tough fella, but he only finished the takedown because Nog has stopped punching due to the ref stepping in. Could Alvey have kept going if Nog kept hitting him? Maybe. But was the stoppage a bad one? No. In a title fight I want the guy limp and ded. But in a non-contender bout, when a guy drops like that and gets hammerfisted in the face a couple times I just don't see a problem with the stoppage.
