LFA 1 - Peterson vs. Higo | Dallas, TX (Friday, January 13th)

30-27 Higo. Finished the round in mount.
 
Someone lit a fire under Petersons ass during rounds. He has the backmount going for a standing RNC.
 
40-36 Higo. Peterson had the back but did nothing with it. Good finish to the round striking for Higo.
 
And Higo caps of the win with a takedown. 50-45. And the 1st LFA Champion Higo!!!!!!!!!!

Peterson was tough but it was all Higo. He was headbutting Petersons elbow strikes at the end of the fight.

UFC needs to pick him up now. They are signing Fire Kid, pick up Higo as well.

Should also get Bibi and Moraes. UFC BW div is loaded and only getting better.
 
Higo had too good of boxing for Peterson.

Peterson trains at the same gym as Matt Hobar and Damon Jackson; both of which eventually made it to the UFC.

Problem with the gym is that they all struggle with striking (everyone at the gym is tough, can cut tons of weight, and grapple but hardly anyone can strike at even an average level).
 
Higo looked good. Was a big win for him. The major leagues should be making some offers to him now.
 
What the hell did Higo sign at the end of the show? Shit was confusing as fuck.
