Wouldn't it have been better.
Judges should let the fighter to recover for his own safety.Hendo h-bombs on grounded opponents is good example of asshole level of rules violation in any combat sports,including MMA.
Maybe this rules would give us a result of less lucky moments like Serra one. So for competition and fans champ should defend his title to be called one. Mcgregor's case,where many people dont count him as a champ of any weight,because of zero title defenses.
Fighters corner can also throw a towell way often and easier.
And also maybe there will be more submission finishes,which is pretty low nowadays.

MMA's rules today are still barbaric and needs to be fixed in order to be called a sport and not a "just bleed" freakshow.

If you actaully understand the rules..its not that barbaric at all there are several rules that are very protective to the fighters...i have a feeling your a casual viewer or dont understand the actual rules ..and just seen brutal kos..that can happen in any combat sport..like i said maybe MMA isnt 4 u
