Working as a nurse, my experience has taught me that being a super big person at 70 and older is not good for most humans. Muscles turn to fat, lower energy levels so it gets harder to move all that weight, limited range of motion, always uncomfortable and etc. If you live like that for 10 plus years, you will be miserable.

It is better to be lean and agile/flexible with as much range of motion as possible.
