Spent 8 days in Vegas fiddle-farting around with the wife.
No shows, no gambling, no strippers, (looking back, damn, WTF) anyways, we checked out the landscape, got to know the town a bit, and tried a bunch of eating joints.
Of the stand outs, these were the best:
satay Thai

Great service, great food, open 11:am-11m. Had a tall Thai chick and another like 4'11 89lbs. So genuinely nice, went there a couple times. The tall one said she saved money to see maroon5? new year's eve.

Very inexpensive place to eat. Good food, nothing fancy, lot of Hawaiians eat here.
Ramen Sora

This place was simple and outstanding.
Run by Japanese, there was a 40gallon pot in the kitchen run by a young looking This guy:
Broth is really rich, flavor is layered and deep, very easy going atmosphere. Nothing like it in Texas, that's for sure. Highly recommended. Very reasonably priced.
Gangnam Grill

This was a grill your own grubb at the table. All wait staff was genuine Korean Gals.
Here's a slide of all the pics:
