Whenever the debate of Jordan vs LeBeast is brought up. Jordan fanboys just say jordan went 6 for 6 like a bunch of parrots. Literally the only argument they ever have that hes better. Im an unbias fan, lebron is better thats just how it is, hes played in a tougher league and carried a bigger load than MJ his whole career and been under more pressure also since day 1.

You really think lebron wouldnt go 6 for 6 against the weak ass teams jordan faced in the finals? Come one son <{MingNope}>.

07 spurs
Thunder with KD harden and goatbrook
Spurs twice
Mavs- really only embarassing loss for legoat ill admit that he choked
Warrios twice

Jordan would probably go like 1-6 against them lol. Probably only beats the mavs just being honest. But hey he went 6 for 6 against some cans though hes better

The NBA was completely different when Jordan was playing. Warriors might not be what they are now because Steph Curry would be getting roughed up every night and probably not even be healthy. Hard to compare the two.

Either way Jordan would have def had a better record then lebron against those teams.

Ray Allen bailed Lebron out against the Spurs.

Game 7 last year was begging to be taken over the last 5 min and Kyrie had to close the show with his 3. Lebron had a nice block on Iggy but still.

Lebron is the best all around player currently playing, but in the last 2 min give the damn ball to Kyrie.

Jordan was better than Lebron could ever dream. Lebron just isnt made of the same stuff that guys like Jordan And Kobe are made out of.

Jordan wouldnt have gotten lebroomed in the finals, ill tell u that much

Lebron gets smoked by that Sonics team. Likely loses to the Jazz as well.

What a tremendously ignorant OP. Truly astounding

Cool story bro

Anyways MJ goes 6-0. As a Heat fan I can tell you, the only truly elite team -- relative to actual Finals teams -- they played were the 2014 Spuds. Jordan would've 4-3'd them (which is giving the Spuds a ton of credit since Jordan never went past game 6 in 6 Finals). 2007 Spuds: lol Jordan in 4. 2015 Warios: Jordan in 6, 2016 Warios: Jordan in 5.

Prime Magic's Lakes, Barkley's Suns (who would've won 70+ games had their 2nd best player KJ not missed 33 games), Sonics (64-18), Jizz (64-18, 62-20) -- all these teams would take LeBrick to pound town

Not going to weigh in on the silly hypotheticals. Just posting to say that I think that it's absolutely asinine that LeBron gets shit for losing to the Spurs in '07. Dude was 22, and there was nobody else on that team. Jordan was getting his ass handed to him by the Celtics and Pistons in the playoffs every year until he was in his late 20s.

No one gives LeBrick shit for 2007. It's actually frequently cited as one of his more impressive achievements, just getting his team there in the first place

He does get shit for it.

People insist on including that series in his "losing finals record."

Anyone who rips LeBrick for 2007 is a filthy casual who has no concept of context. So who cares what they think

Even without 2007 LeBrick still wouldn't have a winning Finals record (and after this season he'll likely fall back to a losing Finals record anyways)

Nobody blames bern for losing to the spurs first time

Getting brutally swept, while having the worst shooting splits for a star player in Finals History is another story tho

Iverson didnt get swept by the better lakes team...

Jordan never bermuda triangled in the 4th for a finals series either, as bern did against the Mavs

jordan didnt even make the finals until he was like 27. lebron carried a trash cavs team to the finals at 22. that says it all.

not even remotely to anyone that understands how the concept of time works

Jordan WENT TO COLLEGE and MISSED MOST OF HIS SECOND SEASON W/ INJURY

Lebron didn't...

Jordan also WON THAT FINALS....AND THE NEXT TWO. And the other three after his two year baseball hiatus.

Lebron got swept in the most embarrassing loss in NBA Finals history, and then failed to make it again until he dipped to form a supersquad ( four seasons later). 3 more yoffs w/ the Cavs ....nothing. AND THEN HE LOST AGAIN in MIA hahahha

Against the spurs, in case you forgot, he shot 35.6%, 20%, and 69% splits....

when did Jordan do that against ANY opponent in ANY yoff series ever?

by the time he retires, he'll likely be a top 3 all time player, certainly top 5. Bern is the man

but he's not Jordan, to compare him as such is actually patently absurd. Jordan won every finals he was in for a reason, Bron hasn't for another reason

Because battling the 80s Celtics and Pistons in the yoffs is equivalent to battling the 2007 Jizards, Nuts, Pistcans (season after they got rid of Big Ben)

I have no idea how you can have this argument. It's pure retarded speculation.

And the only season Bern remotely resembled Jordan in the Finals is the year they lost to GS. Trying to compare Bern's Finals performances favorably to Jordan's is just laughable.

Expansion years, a much smaller talent pool, and Jordan got a lot of preferential treatment and played for peanuts for most of his career so that e team could field a decent squad. The style of play at the time would favor Lebron as well. Lebron could ragdoll an enforcer like Oakley if it came you want rough play.

I know nothing about basketball, so I'll just agree with Faust on everything.

To be honest, those 07 Pistons were still a very good team, probably top 4 in the NBA at the time (best record in the east), and Lebron's performance against them was nothing short of legendary.

It's tough to compare players across different eras of basketball. So many variables to take into account and every single season has to be accounted for. As of now, MJ definitely had the more successful and prolific NBA career - there's no doubt about that. But, Lebron still has another 3-4 good years left in him, so lets see what happens.

But when we're talking about the greatest player ever in the name of basketball, the margin for error among the individuals is quite slim, so when it comes down to it and we look back among LBJ's legacy and compare it to that of Jordan's, that 11' choke job against the Mavs is what will probably set him back in the debates.

Nevertheless, Lebron James is still a great player and is top 10 of all time. He's also a pussy.
