It's one thing to say someone is a superior wrestler. That's not what was said though.

He hasn't been taken down in a while & was even stuffing Cormier's takedowns. Also when Bader tried to take him down he looked like he ran into a wall. I think if he can't KO Jones in 2 rounds that he'll fade and get submitted or TKO'd by elbows.

My sources have informed me that a potential fight between jones and rumble is brewing.

I think this is a horrible way to smash the rumble hype, and all it does is feed jones an easy win.

I see jones using his trademark pinpoint muay thai striking to set up a heel pick, and finishing rumble on the ground with a heelhook. We all know rumble cant wrestle.

Watch how rich clementi exposed him.

Jones hasn't 'Merked' anything except lines and roids for years.

Hoping for a Rumble KO, but I just can't see Jones being stupid/sloppy enough to let that happen. Plus, he's so hard to hit clean, add in the takedown threat and Jones just has more paths to win.

OSP absolutely blasted him in his last fight.

Hugely underrated chin – but if Johnson catches him like that he's hitting the deck.

Dislike both fighters, but love the match-up. We've seen Jones/DC and we've seen DC/Johnson. This is fresh and exciting.

Hopefully Gus beats Blachowitz and takes on the loser; either rematch is interesting.

Obviously Jones is a very tough match for anyone and Rumble's heart and ability off of his back is questionable but style wise I think he's the worst matchup for Jones at LHW.

Jones boxing defence is not great and he tends to depend on his reach/kicks to avoid punishment but Rumbles ability to land with power from distance may well negate that. Jones has a good chin but he's generally been able to avoid real bombs of the kind Rumble might land on him.

If this fight starts to get hyped I wouldn't be surprised to see Jones admit he was on steroids and take a 2 year ban.

In Jones' defense, he was coming off a long layoff and looked very sluggish and not himself in that fight. When he's on point, he barely gets touched, and when he does, the guy is hard to KO.

Anthony Johnson won a national wrestling title but everyone knows he can't wrestle.

I can only think he got that reputation because he's gassed badly in a few fights when it went to the ground. DC and Vitor and Kos.. He's nowhere near DC's level but who is? He's actually a good wrestler but he mostly uses it to keep fights standing. LIke against Davis.

Some of us who have been here a while remember how he got criticized for wrestle-fucking Dan Hardy back in the day and saying "it's not my fault if he can't wrestle".
