The truth is in the middle.

The UFC are his bosses, and went to great lengths to protect Jon because he was an important revenue stream. In the course of working together for years, you also develop personal relationships with the people you are in business with.

It is completely true Dana is only interested in Jon for the money he brings in, and it is also true that Jon should expect to have some more personal reciprocity with Dana, but that isn't the case with him.

Between some people its just a business relationship. Jones isn't worth the time and energy developing a personal relationship with IMO
