Big part of his legacy is finishing Machida, Shogun, Rampage and Vitor. Three of those were significantly smaller and Rampage was out of his prime. Its not a coincidende that those three bigger fighters you named were all tougher fights for him.

Name a sport where the guy who would beat all others isn't the best.

If a tennis player beats all others he is the best. Same goes for golf, formula 1 any sport. The best is the one who wins. Roy Nelson beating MM in a fight means he is a better fighter.

The weight class argument is so stupid that you should be embarrassed for posting it. Jones has never struggled to make weight in his entire career, so who are you to say he should be fighting at heavyweight? Jones is tall, but lean, he is not a natural heavyweight.

Jones also defeated a guy that was a top 5 heavyweight when he was in the division and arguably could be champ.
