Their accounts have upended the image of Mr. Faria, whose global fame exploded after Oprah Winfrey broadcast a profile of him in 2010 and then interviewed him during a visit to his center in 2012.
As prosecutors sift through a mounting pile of victim statements, Mr. Faria appears likely to become the first major Brazilian casualty of the #MeToo movement, which so far has reverberated relatively little in Latin America’s largest nation.

This guy claims to be a medium, he does healing through spiritual surgery in a small town in the middle of nowhere in Brasil, Abadiânia, 12 woman came forward in a TV show just some days ago claiming they were hand picked to meet him in his office after the healing ceremony and he proceed to pull his pants out and basicaly ask them to jerk him off and suck in order for them to be fully healed.
He has been doing the "healing" stuff since 1980+- and became world wide famous once Oprah visited him, about 10.000 people visit his house a month with 40% being Europeans/Americans.
After the TV show aired about 200 people came forward with similar complaints.
The crazy thing about him is that he actually cuts people open and stitches them up, while most fraudulent healers simply pretend to have cut with fake blood and all.
