Aside from the those elbows in the first round, Marcin essentially controlled the entire fight. Respect to Joe. He's always seemed like a good guy.

I wouldn't say it was the worst decision in history, but it was pretty clearly Helds win. Props to Lauzon I always did admire the guy. His stock just went up in my book. The bad part is it won't help Held at all. Still a loss in the record book. Wouldn't be surprised if Uncle Dana let him (Held) go after 2 loses.

It would be dumb for the UFC to let him go (back to Bellator or wherever). Great prospect and one of the only leglock specialists in the game at a high level right now. Plus they have Joanna as a champ (plus KK)...would help to have Held to make more inroads into the Polish market.

yup i was saying the same thing, that i'd never seen that before. someone in another thread said rampage did it with machida, but i couldn't remember.

I think Page said Machida whooped his ass...he acted surprised at the very least.
