Joe Duffy vs Conor Mcgregor in a boxing match. Who wins?

I don't watch Duffy at all, but he doesn't seem like he's KOing people even with his better boxing. Conor is doing it with supposedly inferior skills though. They're both MMA fighters, with one hsving actual boxing experience. Yet Conor's the one with highlight reel punches. Imo Joe is a BJJ fighter who went to boxing not because he was good with his hands, but for the money (which he admitted to (
Duffy Has good hands but not raw power. He's one of those guys that will just wear down the body and pick at openings until you drop. He is a legit striker.

Conor is big and a good counter. His disgusting reach helps him a lot. In terms of raw strength their probably not that different. However, when counters land highlights happen.

Joe is a more versatile striker with a better gas tank. Conor is a more technical striker with better speed and timing.

It could go either way

If Duffy was better than Conor at both grappeling and boxing, he'd be a UFC champ. In real life, he lost to Poirier and McGregor would chew him up in a straight, standup match.
Joe also had to fight through LW. Being good doesn't guarantee you a title shot. Being popular does.

Also by your logic because of the long list of people Nate lost to, Conor should lose to them. That logic doesn't work. Every match up is unique and has little to no bearing on how you match up with a completely different fighter.

It would certainly be much more competitive than Conor vs Floyd, thats for sure
